ok... maybe im completely wrong here.. BUT has anyone ever thought that maybe this is a sort of *concept album* where the concept is basically.. making decisions and dealing with consequences... and making more decisions.. its an ongoing cycle that in the end ends up with the msin character going to hollywood and being chased by their inner *monsters* which are brought up in Eating a book I just think this whole album is about someone trying to escape problems they can't escape.. because.. in life there will always be problems. anyways this is my favorite song on the album... He Is Legend is the craziest friggin band ever... they sound like a mix of all the best bands and the bassist is reallly good.. which is a rarity in *hardcore*... ugggh... *shudders* i hate "genre-izing* music |

Ok dont know if anyone cares.. but there are most DEFINITLEY 2 versions of this song, One Is From A Snow Capped Romance , the softer less screamy version is on the resident evil 2, Apocalypsye soundtrack I like The ASCR Version ALOT better.also the lyrics are slightly changed toward the end of the RE2 version, however the music itself is not changed at all i'm pretty sure they just re-recorded the vocals for the soundtrack version Brock is a MUCH better screamer than he is a singer *IMHO* *Avoids Acid being thrown in eyes from people who disagrree with me* anyways i think this song is about suicide aand how Brock sees swallowing pills as the only way to end the pain. |

Now for what i think the song means
i think the song is about questioning who is really truly behind you as far as friendship a lot of paranoia seems to come across in this song he wonders why no one ever told him everyone could be so decietful im guessing he got backstabbed by a close friend or possibkly a gf he is completely lost without that person and now he doesnt know what to do so he contemplates suicide |

I could be wrong but i think this song is about people stereotyping you constantly and you overcoming those stereotypes he's also saying dont judge me when he says "i'm a number that isn't equal to any of you hes saying im better than you. |

wowo just got back from seeing these guys in Worcester MA they are amazing live.. anyways i talked to there new bassist directly and he basically said that its a song about how gourgeous girls use there looks to treat people like crap and Alex is just dreaming about getting his revenge on those sort of girls by dreaming that he is watching their face explode pretty sic stuff cantv wait for thew new album.. . i unfortiunaely do not own it yet but it comes out 6/29 as if you didn't know |
