This is one of my favorite songs..... surpirsed no one comments on it... wait no I'm not... cause mostly n00bs comment.... (n00bie1423: "Du Hast means 'You Hate' the fucking english fucking translation fucking says it I'll fucking send it you via fucking e-mail have a nice fucking day) GOD I hate n00bs.... anywho this song is simply a cool song about a girl who they thought was dead, but was finnaly happy because she had the world to herself...so she sang.... NOTE: I have no clue why this guy added "yes" to the end of the girl;'s lines..... because that's not how it is..... odd and several other mistakes as well.... I'll post the true lyrics.... |

okay Oldskoolpunker you have some serious issues to get rid of..... Rammstein love live shows and will do anything to surpise their audiences.... anyone who have seen a live tourn knows what I mean... from the Flake-raping.. to the fake penis spraying water on the audience... to lighting Till on fire (I MUST have that jacket), Till's flamethrower.... Till's Firework bow..... I mean they love to light up the stage and entertain.... and they do a fine job of it.... and as far as this song it is a military phrase "open fire" and it seems to have a military theme throughout.... I refuse to go into it because this is all n00bs listen to other than Du Hast because this was in "xXx", I mean god give R+ a god damn break.... they're performers not the fucking Nickolodean channel.... |

There is NO way it can be "You hate" or else it screws up the entire course of the song..... "Du hast mich gefragt" if you believed it meant you hate then you just said somthing to the extent of "You hate asked me" Also people who take german know that line proves it.... Hast is being used as a helping verb for the past tense participle of "fragen" Oh in your face anyone n00bs who think otherwise.... |

Okay for all these n00bs who claim to be Rammstein listeners would know that the gy who translated both "Du Hast" and "Engel" into english was a crack. He screwed up big time.. too the language way too strictly and mixed up have with hate (German word for hate is hassen.... congigated it would be hasst or at least have an accent.... but not hast) Rammstein doesn't know english very well..... their only good english song is Stripped.... and you can see it doesn't sound that good.... a true translation of the song is "You have" as the song is a play on GERMAN WEDDING VOWS..... you morons.... nothing there about hate..... t's a play on words..... "Du hast mich gefragt, und mich habe nicht gesagt" means "You have asked me and I have not said" not as the "english" version says "You hate me to say, and I did not obey" Please.... if you're gonna claim to be a R+ fan..... know your songs..... or at least know some german.....and for the guy above me...
