i just saw keane play on an old episode of snl and i really like this song. it really fits into my life because it just reminds me of the past. my old group of friends and i would always hang out when we were in high school and life was so innocent and happy and i was young and in love. then everything changed. some moved. some went to college. some changed. and it's sad and makes me long for the good ol' days that are long gone. |

omg this song is so beautiful... my favorite part by far is towards the middle-end of the song where everything stops and it's a quiet little tune and then he sings really softly... it sounds something like this:
"here i... go... to him
here i... go... to him airily???" does anyone know what he says? it keeps repeating in the background when the chorus joins in almost all the way to the end of the song. |

does anyone know the part right between "but home is nowhere" and this song where it's just music and someone is talking in the background quietly? it goes from a young boy talking to a young man to an old man... here's what they say:

i absolutely LOVE how the first half of the song is all quiet and has little music in it and then the second half is like screaming and loud music, it's so great. both parts of the song portray different kinds of emotions and this is a great song to get into!!!

"hey guys i just wanted to say thank you for all of the kind words in regards to the new video. we worked super hard on it so i am glad you all like it. to clear up the case and the lamb and the brand new thing...there is something in the case (of course i cant tell you what it is you have to make it up for yourself) and for us the lamb had something to do with the contents of the case which is very similar to how brand new used it as a symbol in their video. those guys are some of our best friends and we had the same director so we all thought it would be cool to sort of "brand" marc's videos with the symbol. and dont worry we wont be wearing suits and ties at our shows or anything, it was just for the story...but it was fun as hell getting all snazzy and rocking out." |

this is probably my favorite song on the cd, it is so beautiful. i love the way his voice sounds with the music... it's just beautiful!! i didn't use to like sparta, but one day this guy at my work put it on and i was forced to listen to it and this is the song that caught my "ear", so to speak. |
