Gatsbys American Dream – Speaker For The Dead Lyrics 19 years ago
I think this song is, like alot of the others on this album, about Pompeii. From what i read the band was really interest in the idea that the people of Pompeii were so arrogant that they wouldn't leave their beautiful city despite living beneath a volcano that was acting up....
"Oh arrogant island being buried in humility
Like the beaches were buried in ash."
The fact that it talked about scientists finding them and " their chests hollowed out " follows the Pompeii thing too, where the bodies of the citizens of Pompeii were encased in ash, eventually decomposing and leaving hollowed out spaces inside the hardened ash.

Sugarcult – Memory Lyrics 20 years ago
I think this song is about a relationship that didn't happen. And wishing it had, imagining what would have happened. Not caring that it would end bad, just wanting to be able to remember the whole thing. The writer regrets not starting a relationship, because he thought it would end badly... but now he realizes that perhaps the relationship and memories of it would have been worth a bad falling out with the girl. I've had this happen to me at least twice....

Coheed and Cambria – Three Evils (Embodied in Love and Shadow) Lyrics 20 years ago
xAsiDKx, Shabutie was the name of Coheed and Cambria before they were... well, Coheed and Cambria. And, Alaceo's ideas do make sense to me... the part about " We'll fix him restore him " could be talking about when the monstar was injected into Coheed when he was young, in order to save his life. Then the end also makes sense. The " Pull the trigger and the nightmare stops, being killing Coheed to end the nightmare.
