To me it's more of a transmission of knowledge in some way. To a child, obviously. He's shown him everything in the world, he knows the fruits of his labor, etc. and the child has completely forsaken all of this. He wants this child to retain all he has shown/taught him. "Tell everyone in the world that I'm you" as in keep with it all. Sort of. Get what I mean? |

This song has an effect, and emphasis, on life. It seems to speak about the cruelty, unfairness, and selfishness not only of life but of the human mind. Very cool. My favorite SOAD song. |

This song is completely inapproiate for the Olsen Twins. It's not the most upbeat song when you look at it. To me, it seems to be more about sour relationships. Someone one loved, but the love was not returned or there was no chance. Or about a very cherished relationship that just went down the drain. "We'll never feel that anymore," 'ya know? I love this song - it's great - but it brings back sad memories. |
