the brother of the guitarist makes the most sense to me. suicide itself is an awfully self righteous acti, it is perhaps the most self righteous thing you can do. for those who were wondering, serj was likely raised christian. armenia has its own sect of christianity.
and i always thought chop suey referred to the music, as it is a real mix of things. it may also refer to the song's changing viewpoint, from the 'father into your hands' to the 'wake up...' |

it's pretty vague lyrically, as it seems to almost be talking about different things. what i feel he is saying is similar to mo0stah, but it involves looking up to someone who is not quite the hero of the day you thought they were. |
