I agree with musicperson...i've always thought the song was about a guy who was just phsyically attracted to a girl and the girl thought she trully was in love. the guy wants to have sex but she's not really sure if she wants to. how hes not worried or overly concerned shows that he doesn't trully care about her and when he talks about how kindness falls like rain and anna changes her mind makes me think that he has persuaded her and she gives into sex. that is just how i see it...you're not alone musicperson! |

This song reminds me of that time that you spend with someone and you are just "flying" the whole time and for days afterwards. It's like a natural high from just being with them..it's the greatest thing ever, much like this song. |

my sister's boyfriend played this for me in the car one day after he heard about how i'm not allowed to watch the news. after all the kidnappings and stuff that have been going on lately i started having panic attacks at night thinking that someone was in the house so im banned from the news and have to take sleeping pills on some nights if i want to sleep..so he dubbed this as my song. it's really an incredible song, ive often wondered why the newscasters show no expression when reading about those horrible stories. everytime i watch the news i tear up..it's awful stuff the news is. |

i just had a shower revelation..you know where you're in the shower and you're thinking about something and then suddenly it makes complete sense?! well yea, just had that happen. okay, this is totally just what I think, basically throughout the song he's just saying what he believes and what he's seen and observed and at the end he says "There you go once again you missed the point and then you point your fingers at me and you say that I said not to believe" b/c some people will listen to the song and twist it around as him saying that you should believe the same things he does, which he's not, he's simply stating what he believes but if he's somehow proved wrong and they believed the same thing as he did then they have to point your finger and blame someone so it must be him since he wrote this song. basically just saying how nothing is ever "your" fault and that we always have to blame others. does that make since to anyone? i don't think i explained it really well but i tried..i could form it into perfect words just like an hour ago in the shower! |

this song makes me think of "feelin groovy" by simon and garfunkle..has the same basic meaning that everyone seems to be able to grasp..that you just need to slow down and enjoy life. the first line in "feelin groovy" is "slow down you move too fast, you got to make the morning last just kicking down the cobblestones looking for fun and feeling groovy" which reminds me a lot of "slow down everyone you're moving too fast frames can't catch you when you're moving like that" but yea..that's just me..hey thanks ilikejack..your explanation made a lot of sense and made this song more clear :) |

dude, no love for the east coast, huh? ouch that hurts! we can all listen to the same music it really doesnt matter where in the world you are, as long as you truly and honestly love it. I hate when people pretend to like stuff just b/c it's on the radio or mtv..that's why i was kinda sad to hear john mayer, dashboard confessional, jack johnson, get up kids, etc. on mtv. suddenly all these little teenyboopers are pretending as though they're mellow and hypersensitive and it just really kinda makes me sick..i wish they would just stick to their britney, nsync, and backstreet boys. but seriously, if you love this music who cares if you're listening to it in California or Virginia or Oklahoma?! as long as you really love it. |

I don't think it was so much a name change, just that the person who put it on there didn't know the title of the song and just put the most repeated line of the song because that's how most pop songs are titled..but yea I absolutely love this song..it's right behind Bubble Toes. |

You know the kind, they call in the middle of the night to tell you some story that really doesn't matter but is a "big deal" to them but don't care how you're doing at all. My friend's boyfriend was home visiting her (he's a marine) and when they were driving down the road he started crying because he had to leave her again the next day. So she pulled over into a parking lot and they slow danced to this song. It was the cutest thing and I think about it everytime I hear this song. I love this song. |
