Grandfather recorded their second album, In Human Form in December 2012. It was produced and mixed by Alex Newport (At The Drive In, The Mars Volta) and mastered by Howie Weinberg (Nirvana, Soundgarden, Deftones). Release plans for 2013 TBD.
Brooklyn based Grandfather create dynamic, intense and violently rhythmic rock. The band recorded their debut record album, Why I’d Try with stalwart engineer Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies). Believers in the raw, unencumbered sound of the analog recording process, Grandfather and Albini managed to capture the band’s frenetic, live-in-the-room intensity and create a singular, ruminative and altogether bracing introduction to their world.
