Lyric discussion by deppenpointe

I love the lyrics to this song. Although Kyo says there's no meaning to the lyrics, there's definitely something here he's trying to express. Did Kyo say that the theme of the song was about ripping down the sid vicious/nancy image? Because, I feel like it's a song expressing Kyo's insecurities. I thought the Sid Vicious and Nancy statement was actually about Kyo asking for their help or guidance, for their strong, undying love for the issues they fight against (in this case, it seems to be fascism due to the Berlin Wall statement in the beginning). But when Kyo says he can't accept their hand, Kyo has come to a conclusion that he's not them. He's himself. I don't see any kind of negative tone against Sid Vicious here. I always thought Kyo had tremendous respect for the man. This is the vibe I get when I read the lyrics. It seems like a stretch but I get that vibe. One question...what does Edward H. Gein have to do with anything? Wasn't he some kind of child molester?

I love the lives for this song too. The energy for this song that the band gives off is mad. I love it!
