It's a very intense song where you may be so wrapped up in somebody and thought that there was so much love between you, but when it's over, you can't accept it. And you go through all the stages and the rejection and denial of love makes you feel so inferior. It even touches on other aspects of your life, making you feel as though your whole life was a lie and finally the covers have come free from your eyes and everything you've ever known is terrible.
It's such a deep song... Darren truly wears his heart on his sleeve in this song, and it really works. Just amazingly writte.
