Do you think she'll notice
That I'm a wreck again
Do you think she'd notice
That I've lost a new pair
Of boots
Do you think she'll notice
How I felt in bed again

I guess it's nothing new
'Cause nobody's listening
It's like giants falling
Down

Do you think I noticed
That she came in late
Again
Do you think I noticed
She's wearing a new
Perfume
Do you think I noticed
How she wore her hair
Today

She said it's nothing new
'Cause nobody's listening
It's like giants falling
Down

    My Interpretation

I believe the song is about two people in a clearly dysfunctional relationship (perhaps one of them is even being unfaithful) but they refuse to acknowledge that their is any disharmony. Instead they mindlessly trudge through their routine as a couple, going through the motions as if all is fine. The chorus saying 'its like giants falling down' is to me a reference to how 'Giants' are mythical beings that most people don't believe ever existed (easy to be dismissive of). Giants is representative of how ignorant this couple is over the state of their relationship, so much so in fact that its become almost a mythological scale mess of discord.
