Old Norse/Norrønt-
Sal sér hon standa sólu fegra,
gulli þakðan á Gimléi;
þar skulu dyggvar dróttir byggja
ok um aldrdaga ynðis njóta.

There bold men will dwell
Enjoy cheer throughout their lives.

In Norse mythology, Gimlé (alternately Gimli as in Icelandic) is a place where the worthy survivors of Ragnarök are foretold to live on a mountain in a golden-roofed hall. It is described in the Prose Edda and the Poetic Edda as the most beautiful place in Asgard, more beautiful than the sun.
