We're sundered
Our cards were dealt and what did you receive
In my rest
In all my coming nights
I will dream for you to see
And my words
Will be spilled upon the ground
And sorrow must be freed
Morning
At long last sleeping
No colours to wake me
Our cards were dealt and what did you receive
In my rest
In all my coming nights
I will dream for you to see
And my words
Will be spilled upon the ground
And sorrow must be freed
Morning
At long last sleeping
No colours to wake me

Lachesis was one of the Three Moirai (Fates) in Greek mythology. Her sisters were Clotho and Atropos & they were all daughters of Zeus and Themis. The name Lachesis derives from the verb meaning "to obtain by fate, lot, or divine will". In reference to the song, I think this applies to the destiny that one awaits who temps fate & realizes it's too late, they have gone too far (*the cards were dealt).
