I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Lord
And I've been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh Lord
Can you feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Lord, oh Lord

Well, if you told me you were drowning
I would not lend a hand
I've seen your face before my friend
But I don't know if you know who I am
Well, I was there and I saw what you did
I saw it with my own two eyes
So you can wipe off the grin, I know where you've been
It's all been a pack of lies

And I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Lord
Well I've been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh Lord
I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Lord
And I've been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh Lord
Oh Lord

Well, I remember
I remember, don't worry
How could I ever forget, it's the first time
The last time we ever met
But I know the reason why you keep your silence up
No, you don't fool me
This hurt doesn't show, but the pain still grows
No stranger to you or me

And I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Lord
Well, I've been waiting for this moment all my life, oh Lord
I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Lord
I've been waiting in this moment for all of my life, all of my life, all of my life
All of my life, oh Lord, oh Lord
Oh Lord (oh Lord)

    Song Fact

Maria's comments on the song (from Blabbermouth interview):

"Honestly, that's one of my all-time favorite songs, since I was a little girl. It's such a… Oh my God! It's just so haunting and powerful and dark and captivating. And I've been trying to cover that song forever; we just couldn't quite figure out where and when. So this time we just took a little attempt at it. It's a hard song to even attempt to cover, 'cause all by itself, it's so awesome and it's scary to try to do something to a song that's already perfect. So we just try to do our own individual expression of it, because I feel like you can't make theirs better. [It's] just a different version, a different take, our point of view, and I think it's a real special song on the album. I can't wait for everyone to hear it. It makes me feel all these different feelings."

Classic love story true to his western tx roots. One of my favorites as a story, but I think there are alot of songs that are amazing not even listed on this site. I guess I should figure out how to add them, because I have about 8 REK cd's.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
