"DNA"

Oh, in the meadow where we lie,
Back in spring of seven-nine
There were no rules to feel sublime,
Let's trek down the path.

We just slept to the radio,
Gentle as my heart beats now,
Turn up those years all over again,
My friend...

'Cause you take me away.

Be my, be my DNA, (ooh)
Don't wanna fade away,
Rewind, there's no yesterday, (ooh)
It's all discovery.
Dreamtime, it's our special place, (ooh)
Let's keep each other awake
Our hearts, now they beat the same, (ooh.)

There is a thread that runs along,
The seam of all the paths we've crossed,
A colour wheel that spins around,
We fall into one.

The price of getting setting suns,
We run to the beat of the drum,
We are the creatures, rays and larks,
Relax...

'Cause you take me away.

Be my, be my DNA, (ooh)
Don't wanna fade away,
Rewind, there's no yesterday, (ooh)
It's all discovery.
Dreamtime, it's our special place, (ooh)
Let's keep each other awake
Our hearts, now they beat the same, (ooh.)

Take me away,
So far away,
No-one will find us
On our own island.
Just out of choice,
The dreamer fought
The battleship away,
It's over the horizon.

Voices inside of us are guiding us on, guiding us on,
Can't you hear us calling you,
Can't you hear us calling you,
Can't you hear us calling you.

Be my, be my DNA, (ooh)
Don't wanna fade away,
Rewind, there's no yesterday, (ooh)
It's all discovery.
Dreamtime, it's our special place, (ooh)
Let's keep each other awake
Our hearts, now they beat the same, (ooh.)

A friend of mine suggested the first line of the chorus is actually

    "Be my, be my DNA"

I'm almost leaning towards that now! Anyone else have any thoughts?

I absolutely love this song, it's one of my favourites.
