My sweetheart
Oh you fit so well into my space
Boom, crash, bombs away
My little girl
Don't you know that you have such a sweet way
About you, over me

You'll see
What you're doing to this boy and his love for you

You know how these things do start
And end by design of the heart
Know how these things do...

One more night to remember our love
The way that I want
Just the way that I should
Just a little light on in the distance, my love
Is all that you leave
All that you're giving to me

You'll see
What you're doing to this boy and his love for you

You know how these things do start
And end by design of the heart
Know how these things do start
And end by design of the heart
Know how these things go

These things go

I didn't see this
I didn't see it
Didn't see it coming
Didn't see it coming tonight
I didn't see it
I didn't see it
I didn't see this coming
Didn't see this coming tonight

You'll see
What you're doing to this boy and his love for you

You know how these things do start
And end by design of the heart
Know how these things do start
And end by design of the heart
Know how these things go

Ooooooooooo........

    My Opinion

Transcribed these myself so any corrections, let me know :)

I loved this song the moment I heard it. At first I thought it was a love song, but then when I really listened to the words I realised it was the exact opposite - about a break-up. It sounds like the singer loves his girl more than she loves him.

"You know how these things do start and end by design of the heart" is a fairly explanatory lyric I think. It's saying that relationships start and end by how your heart is feeling. In the beginning there was love, in the end, she's fallen out of love but he hasn't. So it's a rather bittersweet song.
