When he's dancin', baby
Knows just how to move

When he's in a jam
He knows just what to do

He's talking', baby
Knows just what to say

Think what you want
He don't care anyway

But,
Something is missing
Mr. Big
Something is missing
Mr. Big

You can see him, yeah
He's always on the town

And he's dressed to kill
He always looks so fine

When he wants to walk
He'll walk all over you

But,
Something is missing
Mr. Big
So what's the problem
Mr. Big
Don't look so happy
Mr. Big
Something is missing
Mr. Big

When he's dancin', baby
Knows just how to move

When he's in a jam
He knows just what to do

When he wants to walk
He'll walk all over you

He don't do the things
That little people do

But,
Something is missing
Mr. Big
So what's the problem
Mr. Big
Don't look so happy
Mr. Big
Something is missing
Mr. Big

    My Interpretation

Great song! I think the meaning of this song is pretty obvious. It's about a man who seems to have everything together: he can dance, he can get himself out of problems, dresses well, a smooth-talker who will get his way and 'walk all over you'. However, 'something is missing' in his life. I think calling him 'Mr Big' paints him as an arrogant person who has talked himself up. In actual fact, despite all his perceived perfection, he's actually an unhappy person inside (maybe he has no friends or partner because of his attitude!). It's like Iva is calling him out on it. Perhaps this guy just needs to take a step back and stop trying so hard, get some humility, and maybe then he will find happiness.

Yes I probably didn't need to go into so much detail, but isn't what this site is all about? :)
