All those arrows you threw, you threw them away
You kept falling in love and then one day
When you fell, you fell towards me
When you crashed in the clouds, you found me

Oh, please don't go
I want you so
I can't let go
For I lose control

Get these left handed lovers out of your way
They look hopeful but you, you should not stay
If you want me to break down and give you the keys
I can do that but I can't let you leave

Oh, please don't go
I want you so
I can't let go
For I lose control

    My Interpretation

I think its about two bestfriends, and one doesn't realise how much the other one means to him and how much he is pushing her away for his new lover- "All those arrows you threw, you threw them away" He thinks that he is in love with this new girl and abandons his friend to spend more time with her but then one day something goes wrong in the relationship and he comes back to his friend for help- " You kept falling in love and then one day, When you fell, you fell towards me, When you crashed in the clouds, you found me. "

"oh please dont go," "i want you so" "i cant let go" "for i loose control" i think that this is how the friend feels when he leaves her. She doesnt want him to leave as she is in love with him. She cant simply forget about him like he wants her to and she still holds on to an intimate moment that they shared a long time ago- "I cant let go". When he leaves she is left lost and doesnt know what to do, she doesnt know how to cope without him always being there- "For i loose control"

As his bestfriend, the girl knows what is best for the guy and knows that the relationship will not work even though it looks hopeful to him. -Get these left handed lovers out of your way, They look hopeful to you, but you should not stay " I think the term left handed lovers shows that they arent meant to be together like left and right and that it is a very messy relationship. "If you want me to break down and give you the keys, I can do that but i cant let you leave ". Here i think she is saying that if he wants her to just leave them alone and to stop telling him that he shouldnt go out with her then she will so long as he is happy, however she wont let him leave their friendship as it means to much to her and she cannot live without him in her life.

Overall i think it is a very beautiful song and I hold it close to my heart. Hearing the song makes me cry!!

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
