I used to think it's just a party party kind of punk song. But yesterday I finally paid attention to the lyrics.
IMO it's quite obviously about drug/alcohol withdrawal. The 'character' or the band has some empty time to do nothing with, no concert, no party. And the character gets extremely anxious because of the lack of "sedation" or drugs.
"Hurry, hurry, hurry, before I go insane
I can't control my fingers, I can't control my brain"
Having quite some personal experience myself, ^this is just a spot on description of the ordeal. So yeah I think it's a more serious message hidden under the very cheerful melodies and rhythms.
