Hey Everybody, I am not hating at all. I like country music, I get that the general Idea of the song is relatable to a lot of southern people, wants respect from the other people on the road, hes got farm equipment. OK. Can anybody actually explain the first 2 lines of the song to me please? "I am the son of A third generation farmer" "I have been married 10 years to THE farmers daughter" He did not say A farmers daughter, he didn't say ANOTHER farmers daughter. The way this is put can either mean 3 different things, non of which make any sense to me for a song so popular that is never mentioned in this context.

1: Morgan Craig the world famous professional songwriter did not understand English grammar well enough to realize what he was saying, as well as his entire publishing team.

2: Morgan Craig was openly making fun of a stereotype of the entire audience that the rest of the song related to.

3: He was unironically casually singing about being married to the daughter of the farmer he is also a son of..... and Karen Greer does not seem to be his sister
