Wow, hadn't ever heard this song before I don't think and I'm Nick Cave fan. Have had lots of his albums on repeat throughout my life, but the only time the title Acciedents Will Happen comes across my device, is when it's E.Costello. But the opening stanza of this song is quite strong. In the usual Nick Cave way, it is Understated Ass Kickery. Slower and almost with a clenched jaw, he begins this track and gives a shout out to the year of my birth. I assure you, it's was no good star to be born under and I doubt Cave is singing much about that at all, but what he is singing about is just exactly what I'd like to see happen to this beat-cop patrolman pig my ex-gf left me for once. It's alright, when the revolution comes, it will be coming to his house first.
