This song reflects our society today. Pretty girls, old men, man with a gun... pretty much in that order. Pretty girls because men mostly do not look beyond the physical beauty to start with, and a lot of these girls go to extreme lengths to keep that attention; old men because young people will judge them and believe THEY will never get as old because they are vital and alive; but, inside they know that time passes for us all. Man with a gun, well, of course everyone pays attention to a man (or woman or child) with a gun. It is attention due to fear however; but they do get get the attention. The fear of 'not being' is a heavy weight on all of them. They have to get the attention to prove they are alive.
