She'd asked him to sing her something "But not one of those Airborne songs, too much yelling" so he sang her this song. What a sweet and perfect song for a grandma. I remember all the grandkids gathering around my grandma, her reading us a story. She could have been reading us a calculus textbook and it wouldn't have mattered, I just loved to hear her voice. I miss her voice so much. I loved to hear her sing too. She'd whistle sometimes too. I'd give anything to hear her sing. The Book of Love is more than just lovers, it's all the people, things, places that we come to love and treasure over a lifetime. It truly is long and sometimes boring but it's OUR book of love.
