The perspective is constantly shifting in this song, which could be a Luke Haines "thing", as he does this quite frequently (e.g. Kidnapping the Heiress). The parents of the missing child, the perpetrator, the child as when he/she was alive, the media coverage, all whose voices are packed in this two-minute song. I find the last verse very powerful ("when we find him/we can cure him/we can make him better/raise him from the dead"). After Murder Park and Suburban Morning are two sequels of this song (or is this their prequel?) which offer two different endings to this story.
