I think this song is talking about having an affair.. They know they shouldn't be together and they're trying to end it but they can't because for some reason they're just really attached to each other even though they can't stop fighting. Maybe they're fighting because they know they can't be together because of their spouses. In verse 2 it says "the day of reckoning is coming" and I think that "the day of reckoning" is the day that everyone wil figure it out. I think that when it says "though you seal the cave up where you've lain it's body it rises, it rises" i think that means though they try to hide all the evidence of their affair, it will eventually be found out by someone.
