Even though I know this song is about the new genre P!atD was implementing in their new album, I've always saw this as a song I could relate to my own life. For the longest time, I've liked this one guy who's in a few of my classes (he likes me too, I know it >.< ) and this song NEVER fails to make me think of him.

Whenever we hang out, we always have a lot of fun - as much fun as two people in love could have, even though we haven't reached that stage in our relationship. And you know, "nine in the afternoon" is kind of a weird statement, since nine o clock can never be in the afternoon, which kinda goes back to all the weird, quirky stuff we say to each other. And the whole "we know that it could be" thing just kinda refers to the fact that we know we could be together. When I say I'm sure he likes me...I mean, I have literally never been more sure of anything in my life, I am THAT sure. Also, he once said to me, "You know you love me," and gave me a nudge and one of his signature expressions, which reminds me of those lines in the song.
