My brother was killed by a drunk driver 10 yrs ago (he was 25 & I was 19). We were so close growing up and it destroyed me when he died. I am finally "at peace" with his death as much as one can be but I've always wondered what he thinks about me and the person that I've become. He visits me in ways that I know it is him, tthere's no denying it. I heard this for the first time yesterday (strange/perfect timing) then googled the lyrics. What if he is writing from another person's perspective and it's actually about a brother that died, talking to his sister who is still alive.
Idk. It fits perfectly in my situation. Just a thought. :)
