Lyric discussion by hgelman

Interesting thoughts, but consider this...This song was written for the soundtrack of the movie "Time Bandits" but didn't make it onto the soundtrack album (it was, however, played during the movie's closing credits). It was, in fact, written specifically for the movie, calling out events from the movie itself (lines like "Legends of history", "It's so dark in mythology") all reference the time-jumping residents of the movie who hop from place to place in history using a map that lays out all the "holes" in the universe through which anyone possessing the map can leap. They wind up in such notable places as Robin Hood's Sherwood Forest, Agamemnon's Mycenae, and the Titanic as it's going down. Truly, it's one of my favorite movie's of all time with some of the funniest scene's I've seen any movie.

Want another tidbit? George Harrison was one of the producers.

All the best,

Haywood
