@digitalman You're talking about a different kind of freedom than what this song is about. The U.S. Constitution grants you political freedom. That's very different from what Geddy Lee is talking about here. He seems to be talking about the "freedom of the will" here, or the ability to act in a way that hasn't been predetermined.
