If you think about it, Tuco gets burned because his gun is not loaded, Angel Eyes is dead, and Blondie is grinning because he bested both of them.

To me this song is basically about someone caught in a love triangle, and since he brings comparison to this film's finale, most likely means one person got hurt, one got screwed over, and the other was responsible for both. Pretty clear cut to me.

Even the sentence about the guns reminds of that scene. I don't remember right now how the shooting goes but i'm pretty sure that if we go check will be exactly as sang in the song. I'm Gonna check.
