Lyric discussion by zyxw10

I think it might not as deep as some people go with song meanings. If you really think about the song lyrics and this event is sort of fits. This sounds like it's about the Holocaust. Before you deny me, think about it. Bodies burning, chocking from intoxication, no coffins, I (Jew) loved you (Germany) before you killed my family. It fits.

" I (Jew) loved you (Germany) before you killed my family. It fits. " No it actually doesn't. Serj was born in Lebanon, so it's quite contrary. I (Armenian) loved you (Jew - similar to Henry Kissinger) before you killed my family. Also those "young turks", who killed Armenians in 1915, were jewish. He wants the Armenian genocide to be recognised. (Just like Holocaust/Shoah)

This song is mainly about the Iraq invasion and the aftermath of 9/11. Serj even wrote an essay about "War on terror" two days after 9/11 called "Understanding Oil". Google it.
