I think the song could be interpreted into two because of the word fall. Falling here could be pertaining to falling apart (failed relationship) or falling in love (you know what it means ^_^).
First is clearer, she's asking the other half to help her keep the relationship working because she can't do it alone.
Second, it's possible that she knows whom she'll end up with. She's giving promises to that person but at the same time asking him not to make her fall in love with him because she's not ready for a commitment yet.
