I guess it depends on your perspective but I COMPLETELY disagree with many of the people on here. I don't really see where the song implies that having sex is bad, or "too far", It seems to be about a relationship thats pretty much over (something has gone terribly wrong...you've lost your touch) but both people are putting off the inevitable breakup and still holding on (In this moment where we both ignore the truth,its all over) because they are comfortable in the relationship and don't really know how to handle/are scared of single life (I'm scared, you're scared, we're scared of this). Im thinking it may be because he was cheating and destroying her life (slit wrists, you're sleeping with the next door i always knew you were such a sucker for that it doesnt matter what you say you never mattered anyway)
Anyway I know the majority of people think its about the "temptation and evils of having sex" but I see it a completely different way and just wanted to offer an alternative opinion.
