To me, this song is about loving life itself - and someone in your life, so much you're completely overrun with emotion. it's the simplest thing - still it's so complicated. You fear losing him/her, you fear your loved one might get hurt. You fear dying - but feel safe, free and almost immortal in his/her arms. It's bitter sweet. Harsh. And loving.

intense emotions, she is desperately, almost uncontrollably attached to him, despite the fact that they seem to be separated from each other. Her strength is her emotions. Her ties to him.
