he realized what kind of person his girlfriend was after she broke up with him. she regrets it because she realized what she lost. where as, he realizes she's in the wrong and he's better off without her.

she broke up with him. he knew it was coming, but he knew he didn't deserve it.
"Go cry yourself to sleep, and you should. Because I'm so faded."
she regrets breaking up with him and possibly wants him back. he feels that she deserves to be hurt for hurting him.
