This reminds me SO MUCH of the book 'fallen'. I SOMEWHAT agree with the split personality thing but not with the story that it's been assossiated with

She' a grown woman now but can remember how dark she was as a teenager. And she can see her teenage self gagging her boyfriend and was powerless to stop it.
"Take, just one last dare
Pretend you don't care
Till twilight falls"
Referring to her evil side which is convincig the boyfriend to go down into the cellar at nighttime as a dare.
"Wait, is someone else here?
And I can't stop my tears
I've never been so scared"
Reffering to her good side trying to WARN him not to but she's scared because she knows he'll try and be the 'big man' and still go.
"In the cellar buried 6 feet deep
The lover's shaken from a dreamless sleep
Nails clawing splinters from the ceiling and floor
Shrieking like the witches til his stitches are sore"
He takes the dare as she feared, he walks into the cellar and she walks in with him. It's too late and her evil side took over and knocked him out, she buried him 6 feet underground and he's SO tightly packed underneath there that the splinters are clawing into him.
"Calling for the other, searching for her lover
Secrets she discovers drain her face of color."
The good side comes back and sees what she just did and guilty that she was powerless to stop it.
"1.. 2.. 3.. 4 Underneath the cellar floor
5.. 6..7..8 Lover will suffocate"
As she freaks out, in her mid, her evil side is taunting her about what happened.
