Does anyone know why he says "fell in love with a boy"? That's the only part I can't understand of this song yet...
From what I can get, I think it's about trying to run away from a relationship, and the things you think about, and all that passes through your mind (christmas holidays, summmer vacation)... not sure if I'm right, though.

So when it says "fell in love with a boy" it means she fell in love with him and then "grew tired of him".
I think the song is about a girl who leaves him to travel the world while he is left at home- hence "And I'm still here" and I think the line "Did someone mention the weather" is a about how he's sick of staying in Britain and people just talking about the weather....
