I can relate to many lines in this song, maybe not in the way she wrote them but they're sort of vague and apply to multiple circumstances i think. BUT.. the line "I give you something that no ones gonna give you. My sleeping skin and my heart deep down in you" I think this part of the song sinks in to so many not just the lyrics but the way she sings it... imperative. If we havent given this message to someone alreay, we wish we could have. thats why we're here. because we loved someone that we can't love anymore. and we've tried to put it in the past.. "sometimes growing up.."
The truth is, we'll never forget or let go of the connection we had with this particular person. that made us so happy. that we miss so much. that we gave so much of ourselves to.
we're not over them. we haven't found anything to replace that connection. and its been a while. hence the meloncholy. it's been too long
