Lyric discussion by Meaninglessness

I don't think there's a struggle between science or religion in this song. And this song definitely isn't about the unified theory because nothing about it implies an attempt to understand a theory, just that the universe functions as a never ending equation, which he considers infinity. Isaac Brock is explaining his "religion" is that life is like a never ending math equation, self replicating and extending infinitely. Which is close to my own idea of reality but he's basically saying that the universe follows a law of infinity, creating itself and expanding itself. Anywhere you look, in nature, in people, in physics, everything follows a fundamental pattern of growth, death, reproduction, and repetition. Essentially it follows a pattern almost mathematical that never really ends but instead increases exponentially. The plants and animals are connected is that same kind of thing, that there is a balance and a cycle of some sort. I really feel that he sees the universe as something composed of patterns and cycles..
