I have to disagree because Chris Brown's career is booming right now. He has so many fans and his singles and albums are at the top of the charts. He has done movies and everything since then. It seems like people didnt take the incident between the two of them too personal.

That is true, however I was thinking the song was written...maybe a year after the incident. At that time, I don't believe Chris Brown was doing very well amongst fans of Rihanna, and maybe she thought she ended his career, although she did far from it. But I understand what you are saying, Chris Brown is doing very well with his F.A.M.E album, his many singles from the F.A.M.E albu, such as She Ain't You, Look At Me Now,, Yeah 3x and Dueces, plus he won multiple awards at the B.E.T's.
