Yeah..it's like there's a certain group of people trying to belittle the person in the song or the person's own conscience, his/her own ''ME'', the vision of her/himself is doing so. It's like the person is always thinking that these bad things will happen.. and they will if the person thinks about it too much.
I'm like that. When everything is alright, I was always think about the future and how thing's could go wrong in months, weeks, years, whatever... Anyway, below's some bullshit I made up:
One of these days, your eyes will close and pain will disappear. <- Suicidal thoughts?? People trying to convince the person that resting, just relaxing a bit will help?? Or people telling the person to kill him/herself??
One of these days, you will forget to hope and learn to fear. <- The person is very depressed and loses his/her exuberance, starts to fear, anxiety comes in. Or somebody else is pushing him/her down like that.
