For me, this song explains perfectly that feeling of loving somebody you know could never love you back.

the music totally reflects this, there is a tension created by the bassline/drumming which is like that empty feeling in your stomach when you have this unbearable desire.
the song itsself is also beautifully constructed, with this same slow build up, incredible climax, then slightly empty, disappointing ending. i want more.
