Lyric discussion by vPikachu

Just my alternative interpretation of this, because I'm not saying that it doesn't have any deeper meaning behind it, but rather it is symbolic to whatever this Ryan stuff may be.

But, I'm seeing some of the song obviously shedding some lyrics implying a prostitute, or prostitution and sex. Here's some lines:

"Are you worth your weight in gold?" Their cost. Ya know..

"Hey, stranger, I want you to catch me like a cold You and God both got the guns When you shoot I think I'd duck" STDs, coming from either person.

"I led the revolution in my bedroom And I set all the zippers free We said no more wars, no more clothes, give me peace Oh, kiss me" Basically represents make love, not war. Lots of it.

"We are a hurricane Drop our anchors in a storm" They left their mark on the girl, left a remnant; a memento.

"You'll dance to anything" They'll sleep with anyone (for the right price).

Purely what I got from listening to the song. And if this pretty close, it could also be symbolic and have some deeper meaning behind it.

You are probably the most accurate & agree with you the most. I saw a P!ATD interview on youtube and Bden said it was about 'one night stands' & is similiar to Lying is the Most Fun... it makes more sense for it to be about one night stands then rather 'Ryden' and most people that say its about 'Ryden' have it wrong because they claim it says "oh i confess to the rumor of us" and it obviously says "oh i confess in a room where im blessed" possibly referring to a confessional...anywho these are just my two cents...

Oh my God, thank you! I wasn't the only one thinking this! I can't even fathom why this would be about Ryan. Everyone is going to have their comment about how all of these songs are going to be about Ryan Ross, but truthfully, a lot of them probably aren't. Not saying there isn't one that is, but this is NOT. For one, he yells "Oh kiss me" and don't even say it could be a metaphor, because either way that would be creepy. And the other lines "I led the revolution in my bedroom, and set all the...

Any of you have the link to the interview where Brendon talks about this song.
