This song makes me think of Ke$ha and how ridiculously shallow the whole idea of her is. It's even poppy like the music she....makes(?) just to break the music away from her identity in order to shine light on her "trashy" style. Which, as was said, is what society tries to sell us.

While I don't mind Ke$ha or "ridiculously shallow" pop singers in general, your interpretation really makes sense. It's kind of sad when you read the lyrics with this idea in mind. Like a failed singer trying to make it in the industry, selling sex and shock value, but in the end just falling apart :(
