Am I crazy for thinking this song is about an obsessive, one-sided relationship? Like, I understand how it's about music or being "more than friends" but everytime I hear this song I think it's about like, a Fatal Attraction-kind of relationship. And the video doesn't totally disprove my theory. Look at it like this: "I took a chance with my heart (Hey hey hey)/And I feel it takin' over" -He took a chance by being with this girl and now he's mad for her and his love/lust is taking over him completely "I'm more than just a number (Hey hey hey)/I doubt you'll find another (Hey hey hey" -She doesn't feel the same way and she puts him off as "just another guy" but he says that he's the best... I was about to say "she'll have ever had" but I wanted to avoid the obvious Drake pun :P "I better find your lovin'/I better find your heart/I bet if I give all my love/Then nothin's gonna tear us apart" -She better fall in love with him because if he can't have her then nobody can. And he figures if he just keeps showing how much he loves her, he can force her to fall for him, when it's really just a pipe dream. As an opinion, when I first heard a sample of this song, I was like, "oooh, Drake, you let me down". But after hearing it 2 or 3 times, I can't stop listening to it! I feel Drake is an artist you have to let grow on you, but one he does, you'll be a big fan. He's definitely one of the best artists in the game today.
