and after reading the lyrics really thoroughly, I thought she was talking about a relationship.
the first verse, talking about how a guy really wasn't ready for a commitment or maybe he just had to go-he was a model of freedom.
It sounds like something close to a breakup when she talks about "hey, you, ya you gotta be leaving," or maybe he's moving away, kinda bittersweet.
"we are doomed but we wanted more" they split up because it was fo the best, but they still love eachother.
"i won't ever be caught crying and i will not be taken lying down" she's gonna be tough through this situation and try not to be vulnerable.
and finally,
**"It's the times we say that no one's gonna take your place it's a mistake to blow away" i think is the main statement in this song.
When your in love you think that person is the only one.Then you break up and move on and realise, there are other people out there for you. But its okay to feel that way, your just in love.
