I really think this song is about just having someone who really does not like you but is very similer to you, or at least tries to be.
I can get that the other person is clearly running their mouth.
And the we dance to the same groove part can be saying that they pretty much do similer things, whether pertaining to their sexuality or anything else, but the pther person cant pull it off :)
