Well, obviously, I could be right and I could be wrong, but I'm thinking this song is a little bit like about how the media plays and shows things over and over again and we're becoming numb to some things.

The footage of the two towers falling was played over and over again on the news and even personally, I began to not care.
We are becoming sort of 'numb' to things that could even be considered a big deal and even rulers wrecking the country (what ever country that may be) is allowed by the citizens as a whole because it's become an accepted fact.
