A lot of people tell me Deftones is a horrible band, and they don't get why I love them. I myself, as an artist, can't understand why you wouldn't see anything beautiful at all in a song like this. It's peaceful, and it's lyrics definitely just fit in with the whole song. Most of my old friends just listened to screamo bands that all had lyrics to do with sex and drugs, and there really was no point to the songs, but Deftones makes pure ART. And yeah, art can be basically anything you want.... But I like this art better. :P
This song seems to be about how everyone everywhere can be affected my music/art, feel peace and it's like a universal understanding.
