I've listened to this song hundreds of times and still have NO idea what it means. I know most of the songs on Dark Was the Night have to do with love, sex and AIDS but this one is so ridiculously hard to analyze. Not to mention the lyrics are hard to hear.
Nonetheless, this is one of my favorite songs from 2009. So hauntingly beautiful.
